Do you get frustrated with your kids and sometimes with yourself? Do your kids have problems or behaviors you wish you dealt with better? Do you ever wish your home life was more fun? Maybe you just want to know how you can help your kids reach their potential.

If you feel like you have your work and home life balanced and humming, you don’t need to keep reading.

Why I Coach Parents

When our daughter was 7, she accused me of losing her homework paper in the nastiest way. That day had already been long, and I lost it, all right—in a fit of yelling and arms flailing.

I scared the stuffing out of her—out of both of us.

And I was supposed to be great with kids. I had taught preschool and several elementary grades by the time our oldest came along.

But the way our parents’ generation raised my husband and me hadn’t been working with our kids in today’s world.

I decided to figure out how to raise our kids according to how their brains worked.

I read books and tons of articles, and I talked to pediatricians, psychologists, and neurologists.

It took a LOT of work, study, and trying things. Eventually, I learned ways to keep my own cool when I would get triggered. We learned how to communicate calmly in ways that helped us grow. I developed brain-friendly tools and practices that helped them learn and retain information.

Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of families, and educators. I also cowrote Brain Stages: How to Raise Smart, Confident Kids and Have Fun Doing It with Jacqueline Frischknecht, PhD.

In reading the latest studies about how our brains develop, function, and learn to write Brain Stages, I discovered WHY the things I did with my own kids and students worked so well.

I’ve become a total science nerd.

And my daughter is the one who told me I needed to coach other parents.

“Mom,” she said, “most parents don’t have the time to learn all the stuff you did. I have so many friends in their 20s who are having trouble ‘adulting’. Please work with people to help them raise kids who can grow into successful adults.”

So, I founded Brain Stages Parenting

Would you enjoy less stress and better relationships with your kids, while you raise successful, well-adjusted humans?

Someone had to teach us how to dress ourselves and brush our teeth. Why wouldn’t we expect direction for doing something as important as raising our children?

Schedule a free 30-minute conversation today. You’ll get clarity, a few powerful tools, and we’ll see if coaching would empower you and your family.

You deserve a happy, peaceful life, where your kids can grow up to become all they’re meant to be.

You’ve got nothing to lose and a LOT to gain.
